1. Overview

This policy explains what personal information firstcast.shop (the “Site”), operated by First Cast LLC doing business as First Cast Outfitters (“First Cast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Order information. When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address, along with the items you purchased. This is stored in our order system to fulfill your order and provide customer support.

Payment information. Payments are processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number or other sensitive payment details — Stripe handles that in accordance with its own privacy policy and industry security standards.

Newsletter signups. If you join our mailing list — from the homepage or by opting in at checkout — we collect your email address and share it with our email service provider, MailerLite, to send you marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Shopping cart. Items you add to your cart before checkout are stored locally in your browser's storage on your own device. We don't receive or store that information until you complete a purchase.

Advertising. We use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Meta's Conversions API on the Site to measure the performance of our ads and understand how visitors use the Site after clicking one. This shares certain information — such as the pages you view and, for completed orders, your email address in a one-way hashed (unreadable) form — with Meta. You can control how Meta uses this information in your Meta ad settings, and you can block this tracking using your browser's privacy settings or an ad-blocking extension.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your orders, including sharing your name and shipping address with our production partners (below) so they can print and ship your order;
• Communicate with you about your order, including confirmations and shipping updates;
• Respond to customer support requests;
• Send marketing emails, but only if you've opted in;
• Maintain accurate business, tax, and accounting records;
• Detect and prevent fraud.

4. Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the Site and fulfill your order:

• Stripe, to process payment;
• Printful and Printify, our print-on-demand production and fulfillment partners, who receive your name, shipping address, and order details to produce and ship your items;
• MailerLite, our email marketing platform, for customers who've opted into our mailing list;
• Meta, for advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, described above;
• Cloudflare, our hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores and transmits Site data on our behalf.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We may also disclose information if required to by law.

5. Where Your Information Is Stored

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Regardless of where you're located, your information is processed and stored on infrastructure that may be located in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

6. Data Retention

We retain order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle any returns or disputes, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. If you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we retain a record of that request so we don't email you again.

7. Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email us at info@firstcast.shop. We'll respond as promptly as we can; note that we may need to retain certain order information (for example, to comply with tax law) even after a deletion request.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page.
